Vault Terms of Service

By adding Vault to your Discord server, you agree to these terms.

1. Service. Vault provides structural backup and restore for Discord servers on a best-effort basis. It is not a guarantee against data loss. Keep manual backups, and keep the free tier's snapshot slot current if you are not on the paid tier.
2. No message backup. Vault does not back up, and cannot restore, messages, attachments, reactions, or direct messages, under any tier.
3. Restore is destructive. A live restore that is not a dry run modifies your server's live channels, roles and permissions. Vault always shows a plan and requires confirmation before a live restore runs, but the server owner is responsible for reviewing that plan before confirming it.
4. Paid tier. Billing, when enabled, is handled through Discord's own Premium Apps system. Refunds follow Discord's standard policies for that system, not a separate policy of ours.
5. Permissions and role hierarchy. Vault's role must sit above any role it needs to create, edit or delete, or those specific actions will fail. This is a Discord platform rule, not something Vault can override.
6. Acceptable use. Do not use Vault to restore structure into a server you are not authorized to manage.
7. Availability. Provided as is. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or restore failures beyond a commercially reasonable effort to fix reported issues.
8. Termination. Remove the app at any time. We may suspend service to a server for abuse or for non-payment on the paid tier.
9. Liability. ThynkQ's total liability for Vault is limited to the fees paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
11. Changes. We will post material changes to these terms before they take effect.
